• Not only will your listing be in print, it will be on our website. You can include your website in your listing, which will provide a direct link to your site!

• Your listing will also be on the AhwatukeeLiving.com website under Ahwatukee Business Listings, as well as a direct link to our directory from the Desert Schools/Polar Ice website.

• Quality - We use a 35# Bright Bond paper. (The competition uses 15-20# bond.) We also use Perfect Binding, not stitched so the directory will not fall apart.

• We heat set the images directly into the page. The competition prints onto the page, therefore the ink comes off on your hands. This will not happen with The Family Pages!

Art Submission Guidelines

Electronic Art

• Mac (preferred) or PC formatted floppy, Zip, or CD.
• Line Screen: 100-110 Resolution: 300+ DPI
• Tiff, EPS, JPEG, PICT, BMP
• Illustrator 10, Quark 4, Freehand 10, PageMaker 7, InDesign 2.
• We cannot accept other proprietary image formats, such as MacPaint or Painter

Hard Copy
Slicks are always preferred for words/logos. Photographs should be larger than 3x5 but no larger than 8x10. A great advertisement starts with the advertiser. We encourage you to go the extra mile to provide high quality, clean, scannable artwork or high-resolution image files. Textured paper, second hand art, photographs that cross seams, low-resolution images, and low quality printouts can only hurt the quality of your ad when it appears in our book. While we can work with almost anything, we work best with the best art.
